TRY SCUBA DIVING AT COKI BEACH IN ST. THOMAS!

The Try Scuba Diving program at CWORI Dive Center is all about making your first experience underwater safe, fun, and unforgettable. Our expert instructors will guide you every step of the way, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident before exploring the vibrant reef at Coki Beach.

Beach Classroom Session – Learn the fundamentals of scuba diving, safety procedures, and how to use your equipment.

Confined Water Training – Take your first breaths underwater in shallow, calm waters at Coki Beach. Our instructors work in small groups (1 instructor per 4 students) to provide personalized attention and ensure you master the basic scuba skills.

Guided Ocean Dive – Once you’re comfortable, we’ll take you on a 30-45 minute guided dive along Coki Beach’s stunning coral reef. We’ll reach a maximum depth of 40 feet, where you’ll be surrounded by colorful marine life.

Highlights

Coki Beach is home to an incredible variety of marine life, including:

• A tour of our coral reef tables, used by scientific divers to restore our reef system
• Schools of tropical fish like tangs, wrasses, angelfish, and parrotfish
• Curious critters such as shrimp, octopi, flamingo tongue snails, and arrow crabs
• Green Sea Turtles, Southern Sting Rays, Eagle Rays, and Nurse Sharks
• We can’t promise everything, but this vibrant reef is full of surprises!

Restrictions

• Minimum age: 10 years old
• Must be comfortable in the water and able to swim
• Completion of the Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire
• If you answer “”YES”” to any medical questions, a physician’s approval is required before participating.

PLEASE NOTE: We cannot allow you in the ocean without medical clearance if needed, safety is our top priority!
